The price of an agency is mostly not the media buying. It is the office, the management layers, the tooling and the four people who touch your account: an account manager, a media buyer, a copywriter and a designer. hausof.tech is one person plus an AI workflow.
What you pay an agency for
A typical agency team on a small account has four roles. Each of them spends part of the week on your account and the rest on other clients, meetings and reporting upward. The first campaign usually goes live two to four weeks after the discovery call, and the person you talk to is not the person who does the work.
What the AI workflow replaces
The production work: drafting 20 to 40 ad copy variants per campaign, building keyword lists and negative lists, assembling the weekly report from raw data, flagging anomalies in spend and conversions. On websites and apps it drafts copy, translations, component variants, code, tests and documentation. This is where the hours go in an agency, and it is what an AI system does under my review in a fraction of the time.
What it does not replace
The decisions. The goal, the budget split and the bidding strategy. Which creative goes live. What gets scaled, paused or rebuilt. How far the first version of an app is cut. Those are written by me, every week, and they are what you pay for. Nothing goes live without my review, and you always talk to the person doing the work.
What that means in practice
| Typical agency | hausof.tech | |
|---|---|---|
| Team on your account | Account manager, media buyer, copywriter, designer | One person plus an AI workflow |
| Time to first campaign | Typically 2 to 4 weeks | 5 business days |
| Time to a reply | Days to weeks, after a discovery call | Next business day, from a form |
| Overhead in the price | Office, management layers, tooling | Software and my hours |
| Who you talk to | Account manager | The person doing the work |
When an agency is the better choice
When you need several people available at the same time: a large budget across many markets with daily creative production, coverage around the clock, or a team embedded in your company like an in-house department. One person covers one or two markets and a few campaigns at a time. If you need more than that at once, hire an agency.
How to check before you decide
Send a brief. You get a quote by the next business day with a scope and a start date, and you can compare it with the agency’s proposal for the same goal. The comparison should be about the result per euro, not about the size of the team.
